reviving this thread since I just deleted my cc. just need to reroute the wires & ac controls but really like the cleaner, more open footwell area.

I took my center console out several years ago, and miss the convenience of putting things in there.

I did not have to worry about things on the passenger floor rolling over to the driver's side with it there either.

However the delete really opens up the cockpit, both visually and in actuality.

You can get more of a weight savings by just not snacking at night, then again if you do both you save double the weight.

No regrets, not reinstalling it, but I do need to reinstall my driver's side door pocket this year.

I know this is an old thread but this was helpful!

Where did you source the hole plugs in your black vinyl that was revealed when you removed the console?

I got mine at a hardware store.

I put mine back in after the novelty wore off. Much cleaner.

I prefer the center console in place. Just looks right to me.

Couldn’t disagree more. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1664482145.jpg
