Back from body shop just a few days ago. I pulled the doors before paint so they could shoot the jambs at the same time as rest of car with no masking lines. Came out amazing. Spent my s Saturday cutting the fenders and hanging flairs.
CAUTION! The next pictures below may be disturbing to 993 owners!

With the 1.bar boost remap I am hoping for 550hp.
The NA cams are a nice mild upgrade over stock TT. I’ve played around with various grinds and could recommend something better. The GT2 cams are a bit aggressive for street so we ended up using a RS intake profile and GT2 exhaust profile on a 115-116 lobe center. Makes for a broad fat power curve! Check with John Dorgerty I think it’s called DC21 or possibly DC22.

500whp will be easy on the current setup with the right turbos. 60mm-67mm seems to be the sweet spot for compressors. Personally I like the GTX2863 in this application. If dedicated track car step up turbine to GT30 so it will run cooler. The real limit will be CHT’s. E85 is a game changer for that!

Good luck! Love the build!!!

Thanks for input. I put a degree wheel on motor and the n/a cams are definitely bigger than factory turbo which makes sense because Porsche is usually more interested in throttle response than outright power. I would be happy with 450whp on the stock turbos and current set up. But not for long...

Agreed. Love the black. I was just happy to get a "correct " GT2 color.

Great project.
I have a factory Porsche Motorsports 993 GT2 3.8 EVO engine, rear deck lid, wheels, factory quarters and other parts if you need any

The heads shown in post 18 are single plug, appear to be from the original 993tt?

Stock all the 993 tt, GT2, GT2 Evo & Turbo S are single plug.

Once tuners got ahold of them they switched to the twin plug setups

Car should be running this weekend. Then I drag it home to finish assembly with Daytona 24hr on to keep me inspired.

Front splitters still at paint so I rolled out for some butt shots. Forgeline came through with very nice wheels. 9 and 12 by 18". I almost ordered BBS E88 but I like their take on version of that wheel. Centers powdercoated semi-transparent so you can see the machine marks.

It's a good thing you're near Gillespie Field. The take off roll won't be that long. Seriously, that things going to fly. . .

If one of you has to have them I could be talked out of them. Kinesis 8 and 11" by 18" and 80% r6 hoosiers bought this year.
Don't forget, a local guy has this set of Kinesis wheels available.
9" and 11".

I got to keep the Sparco seats from my Voodo Blue car that went to Chicago. They are going in my 993 along with the same charcoal carpet that Jims Upolstery did in my blue car. All the grey leather in the car has been dyed black and the gauges in the dash got a refresh. This is the seats in my SC before it left.
