HVAC Stumper - 1970 Heater Vent Box Flange?
Is there a plastic or rubber adapter or flange that the vent boxes are supposed to mount to on the body? Maybe I have the wrong vent boxes.. 1970 911e.

Yes, held on with round spring clips. You can see the half moon shaped part that the clip goes onto. The mating part has the other half moon.
