They were talking about the Run on Overcrest Podcast. I have to admit this is the first podcast I've EVER listened to, and I was surprised to hear them talking about me (not by name) at 36:00

Figure to drive out but ship back. Intercity is the designated hauler for Valkrie Run. They quoted me $2495 from Raleigh/Durham to Scottsdale. Have used Passport in the past and liked their service. Their no discount quote to me was $2392, less than Intercity.

Here is the kicker. A full truck is 6 cars. They get $11K and change for the run to Scottsdale. That works out to around $1800 per car. Is anyone interested in committing to Passport with me? If the drop city is different than Phoenix/Scottsdale, then pricing goes up. However, for ever car added to an order there is a discount.

Thought i would repost this to see if there are any takers at the multi car price

Looks like I will be meeting your guys in Hellen to enjoy the ride into Durham with Mark Pribanic and others from Jacksonville, Fl. Make sure you all have tools etc, never know what will come tip on a trip like that. I have a great bag packed with tools in the trunk for road trips, esp after my adventure getting home from DRT 2019. Can wait to take over Helen, Ga!

What day is the Helen, GA meet up for that leg of the trip? Interested as I would be driving up with at least 1 other car from here in Panama City/Destin, FL

A couple of us coming over from MS, planning to stop Thursday evening in NE Atlanta area. Helen sounds good if we can join in the convoy. Will the Rally Pack indicate the best hotel choices in Helen? Anyone else coming through MS/AL on I-20 Thursday morning?

Once you pay to join Valkyrie Run they will send you an email notifying you of which towns they are staying overnight along with recommended hotels to stay. I paid to join this Run even though I won't join until Thursday just before Helen. Plus I decided to stay at a different place in Helen than was recommended (long story but mostly to please my wife!).

I think it would be tacky to make an effort to join the Run caravan without actually paying up.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping the Pack would indicate best hotel options. Agree on fully supporting the event -- we are registered and joining as Lone Wolves (Wolfs?....whatever...). See y'all in Helen!

After I paid and joined the Valkyrie run I received the email that had the hotel options with links. 1 recommended hotel in Helen is already booked for that night so I booked the hotel right next door.
