Which rim look do you prefer?
Front or back on this car?

Definitely the front
All black waste that beautiful design ( although I like silver or satin better than chrome)

Rear, black ones - looks better with the other black accents. Not a fan of chrome at all.

All black Fuchs just look better IMO on impact bumper cars. I do like how they look on Targas with silver targa bars and chrome headlight rings though.

Front. Not a fan of black wheels because I think the spoke design gets lost in all that darkness.

The back looks better. However, I would install black center caps and it will make it look even better.

I like the front too. But chrome is generally frowned upon. Polished aluminum is nicer but needs a bit more care.

Chrome is best on early cars with matching trim.

Banned but not out, yet..

Maybe if you reversed them...
Personally like the RSR finish over chrome or polished.

Keep the input coming.
I stripped the front rims with aircraft paint remover. Then used wet/dry sandpaper starting at 800 and worked my way up to 1200. Then used some blue magic metal polish cream. I also used SEM trim black euro jet black to paint the background. In the picture below I added the black center piece, I have quite a few different color combos laying around. If I were to use the sem paint and the black cap, that could really clean them up.

Thanks all. Nice distraction
I went into this 100% on polished. And now am leaning towards all black. That was a lot of work getting the front rims to that look It will be easier to make them all black. Something to work on this weekend. I still got a 914 engine to put back together along with head studs on that 911. Thanks again, Gary
