Headlight Hi/Low Beam switch burned out

I had the all too common hi/low beam burning smell then all high beam issue. I ordered the JWest relay kit and plan on fixing it next weekend but I wanted to find out if the turn signal switch is also probably beyond repair. I will not be back in front of the car to diagnose it and am wondering if I should order the turn signal high/low switch as well.

By your description, I would definitely plan on replacing the switch! Not terribly difficult, just more $$$$ out the door!

One beer fix, did the switch and the JWest in about an hour. Shocked that the switch worked as long as it did given the terrible design. Great upgrade, lights are 30% brighter now.
