What's left of the 'foam' where the cabling & fuel lines enter the engine bay ?
The 'gap' is normally foam-filled

911 504 930 00 Foam strap, around $26.00 at the dealer if you want the real stuff.

Looks like it could also be deteriorating sound pad from above the engine? That can get everywhere.
