Electrical gurus?
Following the dash fuse, I have done the headlight relay setup in the 930. The difference is visible to the naked eye-the light is less yellowish.
Now to my question: Who knows a source for multicolor automobile wires? I used yelow, blue, red and black, tagging every wire I have put in and recensing the changes for future work, but I would love to have the correct blue/white and yellow/green wires, not to mention the black/blue, red/yellow, etc... Any online source? Thanks, GeorgeK |

George....some of the multi-wire cable is striped.
If you can't find that...perhaps an electronics type supplier would have it. Trade names are Belden....or Alpha wire. Hope this helps. Bob

To elaborate on John's suggestion ... at a salvage yard, VW, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche all use similar German wire, and almost identical color coding! So, many of the 'odd' striped color codes are used in all German cars conforming to DIN color-coding standards ... which all of the above cars use!

Thanks guys, but I have a few problems with that:
-BMW and Porsche wiring (as most automotive series wiring) is 16G, and I want to use 14G at least, -I don't want to take out old wire to replace it with wire at least as old... I was rather looking for some recommendation on good sellers of wire, like who has had good experience with whom. Keep them coming! g GeorgeK |
