While I did all the shopping, the shop did the installation on this one,( I had to keep them busy while they were storing my car;) ). The hardest part was getting the AC bracket off. You had to drop the muffler to get at the lowest bolt. All the other blower stuff either disconnects or unbolts with no problems. As far as the MAF, it is temperamental at first, but I had several plugs that were fouling and a bad spark plug boot. Once we replaced these the car opens up. I spoke to the technician that road tuned it to get his opinions. He has worked on Porsches for the last 15 years and he is conviced that the car is generating more power over the stock airbox and settings. It really ran well last weekend at Mid-Ohio giving me my best times to date, so I can't argue against it.

I can't remember the name of the stuff we bought, but from the catalogue description you should be able to tell... we used the single layer, ornage silicone with copper coated wire. If I were to do it over, I would likely choose the double layer stuff that sandiches the wire in between the two layers, and is probably better for heat loss.
