Pop Out Window, ID please

I am putting together the parts to convert a 1986 911
to pop out quarter windows.
From the threads I have seen here, I need a set of LWB windows
to do the conversion, due to their slightly larger size.
I have a set of pop outs, but don't know what they came out of.??

Can anyone tell me how to determine which are which..??

This is what is etched on the windows I have..
The trim is chrome if that helps ??

Thanks....

There’s a really good thread written several years ago on how to do this.
I’ve never heard of the different sized windows. If you have a pair of pop out from a 911 they’ll work afaik
Pretty sure all the glass is interchangeable from 65-89 or later

I’ve read the threads on “how” to do it..

My concern is this post that mentions different
size windows From LWB and SWB Cars.
Nobody contradicted that statement there,
so I’m asking if anyone knows definitely if there are
in fact, 2 different size windows and if so, how do you
identify which is which..???

You need anodized aluminum frame windows from 1968 onward. 65 to 67 were chrome and they are slightly different.

Ahh. There you go. I stand corrected. Thanks Shaun.
It’s pertinent information for me as I have a 77 which already has the pop out rear 1/4 glass but I have some 68 front window frames that I want to use because they have the operable wing windows. So, good to know they’ll work.
I wasn’t aware of differences.

If you've ever picked up a set of chrome door frames, you know why Porsche went to anodized aluminum. The '68s will work perfectly in your '77.

Working on quarter windows today.
