Rear axle boot replacement 1986

Part of my engine drop refresh is to r&r the 4 rear axle boots. Pelican does not show a boot kit so I purchased them from another vendor. The kits were Loebro GKN. I tried unsuccessfully to purchase just 4 boots directly from Porsche. I wanted the best rubber boot that I could find. I had seen and heard some negative feedback on the GKN boots for the 911. There is a part number on the old boots which is a GKN part number. To my knowledge, these were the original boots. Does that make sense? Anyone have a source/part number for original Porsche boots? I am not buying replacement 1/2 shafts.

EDIT
The GKN part # is on the big end of the boot, however I now see a Porsche part # on the small end. That # is 92833229302 which is not listed for a 1986 911. The more I dig the stranger it gets! I am suspicious that sometime in the past someone may have done boot replacements. I will say however that the boot clips are the original style.
