I have no problem at all with slow shipping. It's being ignored that is inappropriate.

I never heard a peep from them, took my money, and then nothing. Three-four months later had to resort to getting it back through my credit card company.
I am not calling them crooked, because several others have had great experiences with them. And I understand life happens, I get that. But I had to move on. |

Yep, first thought is always to put out the threat of legal action....this is why people hate lawyers.

First thought? Hardly, far from it. As I said, I have been calling, emailing and now texting for 3 weeks with no reply. And who said anything about legal action? I share the antipathy towards many lawyers, but there are many ways to achieve a goal far short of legal action which is always wasteful and destructive. Have a nice day.

I thought this guy Erik was supposed to be lending a hand to help with the situation - see post #27. His email address is listed, did you try it?
erik@rebelracingproducts.com Good luck.

I’m also trying to get ahold of Clint . Seems like the number for Eric is out of order and no one answers the rebel racing shop numbers. Anyone have any luck ? I have some struts I sent him for raising. Said he would ship um and never did . And. I further communication for months.

I had a real slow response on buying the rear spring plates. I got charged for them when I. placed the order back in February, and emailed them twice over 3 months with no response. I finally got hold of Clint in June by leaving him a text that said I was disputing the credit card charge with my bank. Then he called me back and sent the spring plates. Still, not how it should be.

I buy stuff from Clint when what he has is the best available. I know going in that it could be a rollercoaster ride...but Clint is a great guy that needs to get some help running his business.
The way things are right now, I would never send struts to him or have him do something I know another, more reliable, business could do.... If you don't want to ride the rollercoaster....don't buy from him.

No sarcasm intended, just a statement. I didn't know that 6 months ago. I do now. 2 years ago when I ordered suspension bushings the delivery was prompt.

Clint is highly praised by many, if not most. I wouldn’t hesitate ordering from, but would go in well-aware of the suspect customer service (communication, more specifically) that has been documented in his forum for well-over 10 years.

Like many small (possibly one man?) businesses, he can either make parts or talk to you guys. The more needy, entitled customers he has sucking up his time on the phone or via email, the less parts he has time to make.
Years ago an old friend was one of the most sought after (and over booked) gunsmiths in the industry. He made it abundantly clear to any and all prospective customers that he was perennially way, way behind and simply could not take the time to answer every phone call or email. Could be a year, or two, after ordering something or sending something to be worked on. On the second premature "where's my stuff?" inquiry, he simply cancelled the order or sent the customer's stuff back to him. He was good enough, and therefore busy enough, to be able to afford to do that. His reputation was well known in that respect. Just be glad Rebel Racing has not reached that point as well. You guys may yet succeed in driving him to it, though. Keep up the good work...

If he ships promptly and delivers like he says he will, he will have to take a lot less calls and emails from pissed off customers asking where their stuff is. Most people are not willing to wait patiently for a year or two, either for parts for their cars or their guns.
Just tell me that up front so I can decide whether to take my business elsewhere.
