Thank you Wevo
Just a quick thank you. Wasn't sold on the Wevo at first. Missed the slop of the factory shifting.
Installed Wevo, got used it, better for sure. More fun to drive. Installed PSJ joint a year later, perfect. Didn't think it could get more precise but the PSJ joint made a difference. Kept nicking reverse on the track, adjust adjust adjust kept happening. PSJ, issue is gone. ![]()

Looks good! How about a better shot of the interior? I would like to do something along those lines as far as I can tell.

High motivation for a console delete too.
Congratulations, on my list but way down on the "want to do" list.

Wevo wasn’t the only answer. New bushings, coupler and adjustment are a cheap alternative fix.

Agree with the OP. Wevo took some getting used to but is definitely a significant improvement. Add the Wevo coupler and its amazing.

Agreed 100%, on my G50 I went through this, but once the tweaks were made, it is really good and an improvement over stock.

Installed a Wevo shifter and shift coupler in my 911 and it never missed a shift or required adjustment or service in 20 years.
Clean interior, great shifter and coupler. |

Wevo X3
I was on the fence with Wevo for years.
Then my 915 needed a complete rebuild after 90k miles. I did not plan on doing this project again so the goal was to do it right. I ordered the wevo internal gate shift. The Wevo PSJ linkage and the Wevo shifter. Night and day compared to my stock set up. Each gear slots in perfectly/ precisely. |

Another 20-year user, here. I have the Wevo shifter, coupler and internal gate -- with a magnesium-case 915 with a clutch-type LSD attached to a 1995 3.6 liter engine. Probably 200 track events by now? I also have the later side cover and one-piece bearing retaining plate.
All I've done in that time is do regular Swepco changes, and (once) changed a failed 3rd-gear slider. I'm going to go knock on some wood. ![]()
