Permagard
Anybody heard of a kind of car protection call Permagard, it's suppose from Europe, I just happen to run into one of its branch in Hong Kong.

I could be totally wrong...but this looks the same as the long-in-place 3M clear vinyl film that is available as Armourfriend (?) in England/US or Stongard in the USA. Also sold for the aircraft industry as clear leading-edge protective sheet for wings under various brand names....
I have this Stongard stuff on my car on the rear rocker panels behind the rear wheels...on the front side of the outside mirrors, etc, and it works fine and doesn't yellow. ---Wil Ferch

This stuff is available as a dealer "installed" option on a lot of new cars. We got it on our 2002 Nissan Pathfinder a couple of years ago. Supposedly it keeps the paint looking new for longer and protects against scratches. It also has some sort of warranty on it where if something gets on the paint and and wont come off, they will repaint the car for you. The dealer said that they have had this happen to them too. They also put a protectant on all inside surfaces (leather and carpet) that protects against stains, that also carrys the same kind of warranty. It wasn't to expensive either, I think around $600. Currently the Pathfinder has about 26,000 miles on it and looks brand new inside and out.
Edit: After a little reseach, I found that I had "Permaplate" www.permaplate.com installed on the car. After looking at both websites, they apear to do the same thing.
