Glasurit Line 22 anywhere? I'm in NorCal
Hey guys, I painted my '78 SC in Peru Red from Line 22 just a few years ago, but I need to do touch ups and can't find the paint anywhere. I got it from Finish Master in San Rafael last time, but they have since closed and also finish master doesn't carry BASF anymore. I was put in touch with a handful of people but none of them can do it for me. I found some that have the products, but don't mix. I even dug around the forums and called numbers referenced on old posts with no success.
What is everyone doing these days? Would another brand single stage work if I absolutely can't find it? |

Great question. My 72 Aubergine was don in a clear coat about 20 years ago and it looked amazing and I was thrilled with it. Today after owning the car for 30 years and being older and wiser I know it needs that single stage look. Time for a new coat.

Any body shop with a mixing bench & spraying solvent based paint should be able to make you a bottle of touch up with the paint code. There shouldn't be any issue using a different brand of paint.
