Rennline dash backdate
I've always hated the lower dash on my 85 911. 35 years ago the radio had been stolen with the previous owner and the repair was always visible. I think they used super glue to put it back together.
I wrapped the the dash in black leather and had all of the trim pieces powder coated "wet Black". I opted to keep my defrost, fog lights and lighter buttons which meant they needed to be drilled out of the dash first. My next step is to install a blur tooth amp under the seat and stream music from my phone. Im also thinking of placing a glossy version of the Carrera script...Thoughts? This was a lot more work than I imagined but I love the results. ![]() |

Love it… I’ve got mine ready to be installed in my 84 project. It’ll be a while but it’s a lovely piece!

Beautiful! Great upgrade. I actually like the Carrera script the way it is (unless that is the gloss, then yes I like it!). Offers some nice contrast from the gloss against the CF.
