911SC Targa door adjustment question

Hello,
I have a fallow up question to my other post.

After having the targa top rebuild, the new targa top seals are thick. When i close the drivers and passenger doors, the windows are too high wnd dont fall under the seal. The window is outside the seal as you can see in the picture

Where don i adjust the door height (picture please), so when i close the door wirh windows fully up, it slides into the proper position under the targa top seal?

It needs to be adjust by 1/4” to 1/2”

I’ll try and find a link, but you need to remove the door cards. Then lower the window maybe 1/5 of the way and you can see an Allen head screw through one of the holes. Loosen the screw and move it forward/back to adjust the window max height. Just did this earlier this week.

Your window appears to be riding up too high. The top edge should be even with the top of the vent door frame. This means that the overall height of the window is too high.

I have a PDF of the factory adjustment manual but can't seem to attach the PDF file.

Yes, way too high. You have probably torn through the rubber on the frame connection.

It should stop at the top of the frame connection (black rubber stop) at the top of the vent frame.

Not really, you have to pull the window frame from the door and remove channel, take apart, drill out rivets, press new ones in with new corner piece.

Looks good. They are a pain to replace. I just replaced both mine. That is why they look new. Waited until I had it apart to do the other seals. They all end up tearing eventually.

Did you get the info on sealing your Targa? If not, PM me with an email and I will send a couple PDFs.

@berndtj - I'd be interested in that PDF, also.
