New Classic OIL Saga: new transmission oil

Ok ... a new oil is born from Porsche Classic

I really do not know if we really need it, but It's a GL5 75W90 and, as for Classic Motoroil20W50, it is advertised as built exactly for our transmissions ...

Has anyone ever tryed it on a 915 transmission ??
Can anyone please share comments ?

Porsche Part ID: PCG04321052

I see they are also selling an oil pump (PCG 721 916 60) ... it seems a good tool anyway.

Another solution to a non existent problem

Swepco has proven itself to be the go to trans oil for pre g50 transmissions
and Delvac for g50s

Agree with Bill. Another product we don’t really need.

Let’s see the materials data sheet on it. Pictures on the cover are 944 and G64 awd, which are both suited to synthetic. I’m guessing it’s a Shell or Mobil product packaged to look like it’s for old cars.

I'm in for the Porsche Classic Gearbox Oil. The empty can will be a nice addition to my Porsche themed coffee ship in our home. It will go along side the Classic Oil and Fuel Stabilizer.

The can is really cool!

I bought a can of the oil, just to display in my garage next to some of the antique old round cans.
