AC Delete engine panel

I am sure I am just not using the right phrases in search, but cannot find anything WRT a block off plate for the engine bay after removing the AC compressor and bracket.

With my clutch done, I am on the home stretch with spring plates and sway bar bushings, so will begin the long process of prepping for electric AC next year. Will be nice to get the bracket out of there and clean up a bit.

Is there a panel that is available and I am just not seeing?

I did the full heat back-date AC delete on my 3.2 motor. As far as I could find there is no "delete" rear tin. I fabbed up some patch panels and tig stitched them in place.

I'm sure I have pics of what I did. PM me tomorrow if you'd like me to post them. Not at that computer...

FWIW, I just used some black silicone seal and gutter flashing, painted black, to cover those gaps. Easy on, easy off.

Would love to see picks of the heat back-date. Thanks.

Block off plate

I built this removable plate out of sheet metal. I thought it turned out pretty good for not being a sheet metal guy.

Goatfarmer1970: I’m having trouble posting pictures on the forum. SparkysVega is neater than mine, so use his picture.

This shows the heat back date and AC delete pretty well. Looking for pictures of my rear tin that show the patches, will post them if I find them.
