We want to hear about your Porsche road trip plans for this summer! Are you heading to any car shows or planning any long distance trips? Maybe you're even on one right now! Give us all the details and know about your summer plans!

Well, so far in the last month I've done 2,872 miles, 120.59 gallons of gas, and roughly 2 quarts of Vr1 20w-50; and that's been just to get to work. Will have myself a short road trip this weekend to go from central to up North Texas, and then end of next month a trip from central Texas to Northern New Mexico for a bit of cabin camping and fly fishing. My old '83 has had a few quirks need to get sorted when I first got it, but for a while now so far hasn't done me wrong.

I will be headed to Palm Springs, CA. It is 1,300 miles each way. With several side trips I will roll more than 3,000 miles total. That will put me over 190,000 miles before I get back home.

Just cars & Coffee and a few car shows this summer.
Was I ever young enough to take my 911 camping?

It keeps playing "Funkytown" on the radio. I guess I owe it a trip.

We’ve just been. 2086 miles to the south of France and back over two weeks. Lots of petrol consumed but no oil. Ran like a dream, they just need using!

I have taken my 1988 3.2 Cabriolet to the mechanic. At 170K+ miles she is doing wonderfully, but time to open the transmission and replace some gears and synchros to make it perfect for the rest of my days on this planet. Plus, correct a few other very minor things and then it's back on the road pushing for 200K miles!

That almost statistically guarantees someone is going to have car trouble.

Back from Le Mans Classic 2023

What a weekend...oldest car on the track was a 1923 Bentley, that drove at that location 100 years ago...

no, it was not the same driver

I think every type of Porsche was there, from early 356 to 992, all forms and types and colours, with luggage rack or spoiler higher than luggage rack...whatever...

Car performed super, not a single hickup...

had a great time both in the stands as on the camping site, my mind keeps on finding it surprising that some drive a +250,000 EUR car and sleep in a tent next to it...which I find super because it shows that not all petrol heads with expensive cars, only eat caviar and drink champagne. Respect to all that take their precious cars and drive these, as was the intention when these were designed and built.
