Axle nut torque / 1985
Seeing a couple different values online.
I know somewhere along the way nuts change from castle nut to lock but or something I have the m20 castle nut. I think this should be 231 ft/lbs? Or close to that

I know the 32mm is 340ftlbs so m20 231ftlbs sounds about right.

Get off my lawn!
|
I don't remember the exact number.
When I did mine, I used a 3 foot breaker bar, and pushed down while standing on our bathroom scale, and I did the math to get the approximate pound feet on the end of the 3 foot bar. Then I drove over to a local truck stop with my socket in hand. I asked if any mechanic wanted to make a quick and easy $20 bucks with their big torque wrench. One guy was the fastest, and I handed him the socket, and he set the torque wrench, and click click done. He gave me back the socket and I left knowing they were torqued.
