Replacement of bridge/connector lines on 930 calipers
If the bridge/connector lines on 930 calipers appear to be in good condition, is it still advisable to replace them when rebuilding the calipers? Definitely not something I'd like to see fail, but for some reason these are $150 each for 930 calipers, so it raises the question.

Unless they are compromised in some way, I see no reason to replace them. A kink in the line or thread issues. I have had those calipers on my track car for 7 yrs and I used the bridge piece that came with them. Never occured to me to worry. Am rebuilding another set presently and plan to use the old bridge. Don't know why a steel line should be an issue if it hasn't been subjected to damage. My opinion not supported by study. Bob

Hah! I've got elctro over hydraulic brakes on a horse trailer. Broke one in the middle of nowhere and had the replacement air freighted in. Friend camped next to us had flare wrenches so no need to go buy another set. Moral is if your 1,000 miles from anywhere I carry spares. If you stay local don't worry about it.

PMB sells them for reasonable money if you have to replace them
