Tach signal wire?
I have no continuity on my tach signal wire from the engine bay to the dash. Can anyone confirm if the black/violet wire in an SC goes directly to the tach without any plugs along the way or if there is a plug where is it located?
Thanks - Chris

There also is a 14-pin connector towards the front of the relay board and the black/purple goes through that connector to the chassis wiring harness. Check both sides.

Chris,
The tachometer wire (black/violet) from CDI to tachometer goes to 14-pin connector @ pin #12 for all SC’s. Do the continuity test for both sides of the 14-pin connector (male & female sides). Tony |
