Looking to upgrade seats

What are some period correct aftermarket seats for g body 911? I have an 84 Carrera with comfort seats and I would like to upgrade to something more snug and cooler looking.

This is what I currently fly have.

Do you have any thoughts on a budget as there’s quite a difference between one end and the other?

I bought a set of these last year and have done some long trips in them since. They are all day long comfortable, very pleased with them.

I’m willing to spend $$ for the right look/fitment. The seats in the link look great! May I ask, how big are you? I’m 6’2 225 pounds so hoping I could fit into something like this.

Refurbished vintage RECARO LSB. Got them to increase headroom (helmet clearance) in my 85. Very firm and supportive. Snug but comfortable fit for my 6ft, 200lb frame. —Dave

I’m 6’ 3 and 195lbs, so not too dissimilar. There’s a lot of choice out there and it took me a while to settle on the GTS. Have a look at Recaro Classic seats and also BF Torino

While I love GTS Classic, due to time constraints in both cases, I went with another vendor. If your ok with having a local upholstery shop doing the actual covers, GTS Classic might be an option for you. I went with Classic Touring Seats on both of my builds. classictouringseats dot com

If you really want to over do it, the Tuthill seats look period correct and are feather light. They are ludicrously expensive though.

Crazy Beautiful and expensive but not ridiculous. Your going to pay $4K-5K for quality seats and add $$$ for custom covers. So if your into that the Tuthill are not out of line.

Recaro L modular seats are a perfect period seat for a 911 of that era. You can get Flofits also if you want to spend less coin.
