it seems that for some reason the PO or PPO or who knows decide to reverse the TS with Side marker lights.
it doesn't bother me but for extra safety, I would not mind having them both blink (so cars in front and pedestrians can see my intentions better) I read there is a mod for that, doe anyone can point me to it? can I just jump a new red wire from the TS bulb to the side marker (and remove the wire going to it)? is there any counter-argument to do that? i don't really see the point of parking lights honestly... I'm a motorcyclist so for me id always keep the headlights on no matter what... Last edited by francesconyc; 05-22-2024 at 07:32 PM.. |

That mod should work fine.
Euro cars do not have that side light but do have blinkers on the fenders behind the wheels. |

I've heard that some RoW cars had the turnsignal mounted where the running light is so the turnsignal can be viewed from a large angle to the car. Sorta like the people on a side road can see the turnsignal flashing on the side of the car.
I did modify my car to make the sidemarker blink with the turnsignals. For sidemarker, I used one of my sidemarker boards which is basically a full turnsignal with dim/bright LEDs. Here's how I did the mod. Basically grabbed the turnsignal wire at the turnsignal and ran a wire behind the bumper to the sidemarker. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/854989-led-brake-lights-41.html#post10297690
