What is this tube near the oil pressure switch?

Anyone know what this tube is? There is nothing connected to it. It is a hollow tube with a rubber sleeve on the bottom. Thanks!

Oil drip diverter from the airbox. The protruding tube connects to the bottom of the airbox with a length of hose. Connected, the oil drips on the heat exchanger, as is, it drips on the engine. Brilliant idea.

The drain connection is on the bottom of your air cleaner.

I took that off of mine. I never get oil on the floor of my airbox.
