Motor mount crumbled
I opened up my engine bay and found the rubber bushings from my Rebel Racing bushings to be crumbling.
They have been on the car since 2014 (10k miles ago). The transmission mounts were replaced at the same time and they still look OK. The car gets canyon driven, not raced or flogged. Has anyone else experienced this or am I just unlucky?

Haven't seen that. They are 10 years old, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect them to last longer than that. Call Clint. I realize he isn't the easiest guy to get ahold of, but perhaps he can do you a solid.

Ya, getting a hold of anyone at RSR is not easy, so I just replaced em with WEVO mounts.

I have Stomski mounts, engine and trans. Like them. Easy to contact and very helpful.

Cheap polyurethane will do that. I've had several other PU parts (such as sway bar mounts) do that.

Had a suspension bushing do something like that, actually. It was 20 years old, to be fair.

Same thing happened to me. I called Clint and he sent me some new ones.
He stood behind it.
