Down the Rabbit Hole I go... 1975 911S
Yesterday I brought this home. I stopped counting boxes at 38. The motor was a recent refresh. The 915 gearbox needs to be rebuilt. All parts are supposed to be with the car. Chassis had a ton of body rot cut out and alot of patchwork with fresh metal that will have to be addressed with bodywork. I'm not sure if I'll tackle that piece or not. My hope is to get it to and back from paint by early spring.
I know NOTHING about aircooled 911s, but I have been a Porsche and Club Racing guy for quite a long time, currently racing in PCA with a 944 in SP3 while developing a 944Turbo for something a little faster. I've also owned a slew of other Porsches, a GT3, two Turbo 911s, and an aerocoupe from 1999. A few other 944s along the way. Anyway, I'll have lots of questions as I go. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Quick update... Pulled the door frames and glass out and contemplating tackling the bodywork in the racing offseason or farming it out. I have instigators, errr friends, who are telling me "you can do eeeeeeeettttt...." Maybe?

No sunroof then? Enjoy the ride I feel the mid-year 2.7 G-body is a very unappreciated car. No longer - the word is out.
