Most impressive work!

Thanks!
Here is the last bit of 'worthy' bodywork before you all are completely caught up with my progress. From here on in, reports will be pretty much as they happen.

I'm glad to be near the end of all the welding (for now) and looking to the next phase.

Many may recognize Tom P's strut braces, just modified slightly.
The double layer on the strut cap was easier as I used 1.5"w X 1/8"h mild steel strapping, pieced in with fore/aft gapping to create a solid top with good connectivity to the original cap.

I also removed the original seat mounts as the seats going in will be a fixed back type and because I am over 6' tall moved them rearward to give me more space.

Omg!

Now that you are up-to-date, I just got an email from my Stripper.
No, not that one.... She never called me back.... ;)
But this one did!

There are only a few times that you can look at a project and see a massive change all at once. This happens to be one of those times. This body represents a 'weekend warrior' going at this body for over a year, chasing rust and building to a vision that only he can fully see.
I'm happy to share that moment with those here as many of us have worked hard to achieve these results. I hope that you can celebrate this moment with me!

Blasting

So, while the car is gone getting dipped and E-coated, I have been busy with light fabrication, disassembling, sandblasting and powder coating.
