Home in its new Stable (Pic)
Here is the first posted picture of my new to me 1978 Targa bought from a fellow Pelican member (lurker). I drove it home 385 miles yesterday with not a hint of trouble. I got this car after a long at somtimes painfull relationship with my 66 coupe which I had restored over the past 4 years. Then it caught on fire and I did not have the heart to put it together again. I had always dreamed of a targa as a kid and here it is!. 109k on the odomoter and it needs some work. the price was right and so was my mood when I bought it. so here we are starting again!

Thanks for all of the input! I am heading out to the garage to hit it with degreasor and get a parts list together!
1. Chain tensioner upgrade 2. SSI's with muffler 3. 930s steering wheel 4. Pop off upgrade 5. etc. etc. as you can see by the parts list this car was not touched much. Wayne's inbox will be a couple of $$'s bigger tomorrow
