How do I remove the glass from my mirror?

I have a 79SC with a broken side view mirror glass. how do I remove it? dos it pop out or is there some type of screws. it is a "flag" mirror

push the mirror to the side and look behind the mirror for a clip to release, in other words if the mirror was on a car pushe left right not up down(I hope I got the dirrection right ) anyway you will see what in talking about, Kevin
