early wiring diagram(s) - download here
I have converted the electrical wiring diagram for early cars (with the 10 and 8 gang forward fuse boxes) (SL35) to pdf... the low resolution option is good for computer use, the high resolution option is good for printing poster size.
click image for low resolution (750K) ![]() click image for high resolution (5.0MB)

Thanks Sherwood... I have tweaked the high resolution file so it downloads a little smoother... you may want to save the newer copy.
BTW, I have visited your site many times... it has been an invaluable resource to me... thanks

Very cool. A framed poster of this diagram would look great in my garage.
So how does one print a poster. I see a couple online sites that print posters...but only in quantities of 50+ Say, would you happen to have the SL33 diagram as a single file in high resolution? (I have a 69 911E). Thanks. Chuck

I didn't get the links to the wiring diagrams, just the link to Check, Measure, Adjust (which looks fantastic). The others were just text, not clickable.

I don't have a high resolution of the SL33... that will be my next "wish I was driving instead of shoveling snow winter diversion project... I'll let you know when I get it done.

This a great public Service, Derek.
But which diagram is for a '73 (actually a 1973 1/2)? Or how do you find that out? And... can you upload the one for the 1973 1/2 cars? Thanks again! |

Randy... I do not know what electrical diagram is for a 1973(1/2), but I would guess someone like Warren or Sherwood would know(my workshop manuals only go to '71). If you can get the correct drawing number and I can get an original I would be pleased to great a pdf version of it... sorry I can't be more help.
targa911S... I have a coupe

"I do not know what electrical diagram is for a 1973(1/2)..."
Randy, That could be SL35, the wiring diagram I haven't scanned and cleaned up yet. Many diagrams aren't labeled by model year. I count the number of fuse positions to ID the correct diagram. How many fuses in your car? Sherwood http://members.rennlist.org/911pcars Correction: SL35 is there. I haven't done SL37 yet. Last edited by 911pcars; 01-28-2004 at 01:37 PM.. |

Randy,
I revised my previous answer. SL35 is there. SL37 isn't... yet. It looks like your wiring diagram is SL35 (18 fuses; 10/8) Sherwood |

As mentioned you can go to a Graphics shop or some of the Office Max type stores offer this service as well. Additionally, if you know anyone with a plotter this is an option as well. Typically architect, engineer and network types have these at their disposal.
