Baby's first steps
Sorry, I couldn't hold back any longer. She just went outside for the first time since - - - 1995! (she has a lot of growing yet to do, but at least taking her first steps)
I do need some technical help, and in keeping with the honor of this forum, should I lower it a little more? How much? (I'm I too gratuitous?)

I would lower it so the sun can't shine on the tops of the tires
Nice looking 911 |

Nice car! I would go 1 1/2 inch in the front but leave the back alone. You want to show your wide tires in the back.

Thanks guys. The color is an original Porsche green (1970) "Conda Green." It was the color of my 73T. I'm told that it is the color of an apple that grows in Germany?
I agree with the lowering. I wanted to stay true to the 15" wheels, so the car must go down to look right. So far it's still 'non-operative' and needs to be smogged!!, as well as a few other items - like a right side mirror, but we're getting closer. |

With all the black trim, she's begging for those stone guards on the rear fenders. Sweet car.

What a sweet ride! Stunning. I agree with lowering the front and the H-4s, the quality of the enhanced light is remarkable.

don't think the right side mirror is imperative unless you feel you need it for traffic.
I like the clean look w/ only the dr. side mirror.

The color is fantastic! How about a shot from the rear to show off the big meats.

I added a passenger side mirror to my 1978. I am glad I did it really made the car look symetric.

I started longboarding in 1960 in Huntington Beach (So Cal) and pretty much covered all of the California coast, with the exception of Mavericks. Every I went there the waves were at least 15 feet. (My favorite spot now is Old Man's, waves I can still handle - - also in So Cal) When I was growing up we use to get up every morning before school and head toward HB. After school we headed to Santa Anita race track. And at night cruised Bob's Big Boy and Henry's in Pasadena. Great childhood!!!
Other than 1 Dewey Weber board I have been an exclusive Gordon & Smith guy. Since moving to Grass Valley I've only been in the water a couple of times. I've taken my teenage boys a couple of times to Santa Cruz, but again the waves were not within my ability, nor theirs' We are trying to get a reunion together and see who has the oldest picture, oldest board, and oldest kids. I have an old German luggage rack that I use to carry my board on top of the 911 and it really gets some stares. Thanks for the car comments. She still needs a lot of work, but if you saw what she looked like before I started you would be amazed. |
