Quick question, I noticed today that there is a splattered yellow dried substance that is just under the spark plugs in my engine bay. It's a good 5 in. diameter that is splattered. I tried to look for a source but couldn't really tell anything yet.....anyone know what this could be?

What side of the engine? Nothing I can think of that would be that color and dry.

GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a leaky injector seat and the same thing happened. Start her up and watch the base of the injectors for leakage.
Mine ruined the powdercoated(silver) engine tin under the plugs by turning it yellow. Ummmmmmm fire Bad!!!!!!!!!!!

That is different than mine, but still may be gas causing a reaction? Hmm

rust from rusty water. probably from the air pump. i see no belt on the pump. water from the exhaust condenses in the pump then and seizes it.

Looks like someone had a nice curry dinner, guzzled too many screwdrivers (vodka/orange juice), then proceeded to puke through your deck grill.
Damn the westside... =)

Is it bad to run without the belt on? i asked a few wrenches and they said it's fine....do i need to clean this up right away, and how....i can easily return the belt to the engine and would this fix the problem? or is my pump damaged?

coil droolage is tarry black.
remove the air pump and see if any more rusty water comes out. leave it off the engine if you want to save it, but it may be seized already.
