993 fender cooler in early 911
I can pick up a 993 front fender cooler at a great price. I know the shape is completely different from the Carrera cooler, more of a square shape as opposed to a rectangle. Is it relatively straight forward to put in an early 911? Serious fit issues?
I think I remember reading that Tyson put a 993 system in his car. Correct?

This is a great place to compile the links you find from the search -- also, IIRC Bruce Anderson discusses this in his book.

The links I have been finding are related to the oil tanks (964/993) and not necessarily the cooler.

Yes, you can do it. But it's not worth the trouble.
It doesn't fit well, requires hacking up the headlight bucket, and isn't easily ducted, requires custom fabbing mounts, hoses, and stone guard. It is only slightly larger than the proper fitting carrera cooler which can use factory mounts, hoses, and stone guard, and is easily sealed to the fender. In short, not recommended.
