Question Will there be a Cayman Forum?

Just want to know where to chat up the Cayman. Not that I mind doing it here. But will there be another forum for it? ..or would it be included in the Boxster Forum? (..even though Porsche tells us it's a different animal..)

I'm finding all kinds of great pics lately...

How different is it, really, from the 944, your favorite?

I have posted pics of it on the b40huckers forum, some from the Frankfurt Int Auto Show. I looks nice in red and yellow (Excellence Magazine). But Porsche does leave it with the 987 designation just like the boxster.

I owned a 944, liked it, was a good car. Not my favorite of all the cars I've ever owned, though.

The Cayman is, ummm, very different than a 944?

I guess they do both have 4 wheels, though.

I hear that too. More room for "tuners" and "aftermarketeers" then...

I agree (owned one and it was a good car), but you're generally pretty harsh on 'em. Though in general I always enjoy your comments

Yeah, I guess. But it doesn't have much of the stuff that I like better about an old 911 vs a 944. (dry sump, rear engine, etc).

I agree, I will be blown away if they do a club sport or anything. I'll count the country lucky if we get a 997 GT3 street car.

What are the primary mechanical differences between the Cayman and the Boxster? Just curious.

Thanks,
