Only "special" in that it has a MFI 2.7 (allegedly). Hard to know much without some numbers.

Here's my take. The seller says it's a Euro 911S. The serial number given doesn't match anything produced in 1975, so who knows. Anyway, it has:
the wrong tail nasty aftermarket bumpers-love that fornt one! wrong mirrors nasty aftermarket copies of the Carrera decals no rocker trim wrong badges, both ends aftermarket door panels later front seats aftermarket carpet in the back rear flares added it's been repainted-was it rusty? new service book-to replace the original that documented the correct miles? wrong trunk carpet a battery diconnect switch that makes me think they mounted the battery funny a seller that knows doodly squat about Porsches and selling cars In all fairness, it has a nice steering wheel, the right tach for the engine and a nice sppedo. Usually when I see a car with this many changes, it started out as a turd. Most Euro cars got used hard, then sent here with a quickie paint job and some missing miles. Caveat emptor, JR

It's hard to tell what is going on without the serial number. It could be a real 75 Euro Carrera. It's certainly a pretty close replica to one. The tail is correct for a 75. It has the hard lines to the oil cooler like only Euro cars seem to have that year. It has no sunroof.
Some of the mods are abit cheesy but if it's a real Euro Carrera then I think it could be worth 30,000 dollars or more. As a clone I'd expect him to get 20 to 25k if the engine is in good shape. -Andy

the ebay add says it's the clone...literally
the word "clone" is in his text like 4 or 5 times it's definately not a real Carrera.

Andy,
For what its worth, that isn't the right tail for a '75 with no A/C. I'd guess the tail's off of a 77 turbo. Look at the second grille. The serial number given is ...xxx70092, which makes no sense. Assuming we are getting only the last 5 numbers, there was nothing produced in 1975 with a 7 in the 6th position. You'd think if the seller had a real '75 Carrera he'd make a lot of noise about it, as oppossed to calling it a 911S. If it was a Carrera, that'd be great but I bet the car is still a turd. Who knows? JR
