how's this for pull? Audi got ALMS to switch to Shell fuels because that's what the diesel was weaned on in europe. now all the rest have to play catch-up dealing with a new set of additive packages. new vettes are said to be awesome. (again)

I'm going! Driving the Targa down from Northern Virginia - picking up my bro at the Orlando airport. We are staying in Lakeland - closest I could get (about 60 miles from the track). Already have my tickets and "Porsche Platz" parking pass. Parade Laps are offered on Friday night for the Porsche Platz folks. Went to the Petite Lemans at Road Atlanta last year and I'm hooked on ALMS. Night racing is fantastic.

I and my coworker are going. My 911 targa is being restored and my buddy is keeping his stable of Porsches at home. We are taking the motor home! Party time!
he lives in the Orlando area and I am in Merritt island.

I'm going to try to come down from Orlando hopefully all 3 days. I'll be driving my silver 86 911 so if you see me shout out a hello. I might have for sale signs in the window.

Well, after my last post (ot), I'm really thinking of going and driving down from the cold to the sun. I think my P-car will make it just fine and so, "what the hell". I've got plenty of time off, can leave anytime, and take any road I want too. The last time I was as Sebring was 1968, and it was a blip on the map. I know it's not that way now. So guys, feed me your comments and who know's what.

If you have extra time you might want to do a search "Tail of the dragon" .I've never been there but it looks like a nice drive . I'm gong to head down 74 to 75 . Maybe some of the people heading down could exchange trip plans and cell phone numbers so we could create a bit of a support network .

steviee,
I'm going down Sat. very early and will also be driving my '86. Want to meet up somewhere? The Carrera slant conversion (Stratton Motorsports) will be done by then and Sebring will be her coming out party. Steve E
