Help !!! Close up pictures needed of....
Dear SC Cabriolet en Targa owners,
Several years ago Porsche decided to deliver only one type of rubber seal for the windshield frame of Targa's and early 911 Cabriolets. The newer type will not fit properly and need to be cut down into the best fitting shape (see also http://carsincnj.com/targa.html ). With helpfull document by Dan Petchel I cutted the new rubber seal but I’m not sure about properly fitting at the left and right corner. I think good close up pictures of the rubber seal fitting at the left and right will be very helpful. There is also a difference in the silver or black metal ‘things’ which are covering the windshield frame at the top… So if someone can help me by taking several close up pictures of the rubber seal and the metal covers…. that would be great. So pictures of this part of the older Targa's and SC Cabriolet will be great !! Above mentioned Targa’s and Cabriolets are the pre-1986 models with manual operated cabriolet roof. Thanks to all in advance !! Hope to get a lot of pictures… Dick911 SC Cabriolet |
