Porsche Crest Show me your after market seats!

I'm considering replacing the stock 911 seats with aftermarket seats. Would like to see photos and various types that Pelicanites have used to replace stock! Opinions would be nice too!

Those were in the coupe I bought last year. Transplanted into my Targa. They're very comforable, if your ass isn't too wide, that is! Don't know where they came from or what model they are. But I like 'em!

Recaro SRDs. Very comfortable, have harness holes in case you plan on driving on the track, good support, and after 5 years, still look like new.

Corbeau Forzas installed in my track duty 944. I got them because they are/I am cheap. $200/each + sliders. There is a thread on the 944 board that claims ~1.5 inch extra headroom over the stock seats - I didn't verify.

I was not able to sit in them without my helmet touching the ceiling. I removed the cushion and it was fine. FWIW, I think I sat in the stock seats with my helmet and no problem, but can't remember.

They are tight with the cushion in. I'm 6' - 36" waist. With the cushion out, you gain 1" headroom but they are really tight. They were great on the track however. With the belts I absolutely felt held in.

They are Recaros. The badges on the seatback even say so.

I don't know much more than that about them. The adapters they are on are weak... Might see if I can find something more solid.

Cobra Monacos in my track car. They were FIA approved, steel framed. Could use a little more padding in the lower back, but were light and inexpensive. Lou

Len911, Mark from Cobra has a GT3, I think you probably paid for the door handles
They are based in my home town and I do some work for them.

A nice family run business and nice people.

Axvel-how do you like those Sparco's? Which model are they? Are they as comfortable as they look?

JonT I love the look and they way they grab me on turn but getting in and out my girlfriend and my dad hates them. I really took time in measring and remeasuring my back from low to high and making sure that i will fit, since there is no way to actually go somwhere with a nice showroom and try them out. They are Sparco Fighters. They are very light. I enjoy the looks and wouldnt change them for anything, but forget about the comfort, although i drive the car everyday i got used to them, only avoid getting in into your friends 997 and you'll be fine.
