Question steering column bearing (not bushing) procedure

I'm trying to find the procedure for replacing the upper bearing in the steering column on a 87 carrera. It already has the bushing fix but still squeaks, I've already bought the bearing but would like to have some info before ripping out the column.

ps - just got back from Sebring - that new penske porsche is HOT, it was out braking everybody

Step 1: Remove steering column from the car.
Step 2: Drive bearing out from its column housing. It comes out in one direction, not the other.
Step 3: Reverse process.
