Can someone tell me what the device that is mounted behind the right front wheel. I know that the oil cooler "loop" is in front of the wheel.
Thanks in advance |

Could it be the 2 horns?

If the car has A/C it could be the receiver-dryer. It would be a 7 or 8 inch long bottle shaped object with a little round sight glass on top. It could also be the gizmo, a technical term, than powers the air horns, though mine is located in the front trunk area.
Hope this helps. |

Hi 911 SC
If your car is really a stock 911 SC, then that "device" behind the right front tire is your automatic antenna "box". This is the box into which the coiled antenna retracts. Jack K: The two horns are in front of the oil cooler, not behind it. Just look under your car. Beagle911: The receiver/dryer on stock 911 SC is behind the front left tire, not the right tire. Hope this helps.....Andras |
