when attempting to shift at normal rate.

I would suggest trying a different brand of transmission fluid. Different brands of the same weight/viscosity sometimes yeilds surprisingly different results.

Did you check the condition of the brake bands also? The shift forks were repositioned correctly ? Thats about all there is , you may try adjusting the rear coupler behind seats

Trans fluid does not matter as far as grinding gears , I just had my 1st gear dog tooth ,syncro, 2nd syncro and 3rd replaced and i am using standard gear oil and have no grinding at all

Also what condition is you clutch in? You may need an adjustment or new kit.

Try Swepco 201 before you try opening up the transaxle again.

You didn't say what condition the operating sleeves for those gears which you replaced the dog-teeth on ... they may be the source of your grinding, if you didn't replace them! Since the operating sleeves often mirror the damage on the dog teeth, i.e., rounded and broken teeth ... most need replacing, if the dog teeth were bad enough to need replacing.
