Porsche horn button for Momo wheel
Does anyone know if these are available somewhere?
I've seen them in pictures, but can't find a source for one. Thanks, Skip

They show up on Ebay from time to time...Momo no longer sells them.

You can get the really nice ones on e-bay for $15. There are several sellers that sell them in their "e-Bay store" all the time.

I just ordered one from DPS-motorsports.com, almost $50 with $5 shipping. Said it would fit any MOMO.

Try FVD....last time I looked they offered brand new for around $40 or so. Price / availability today might be different, though.
Out of respect for this forum.... you might want to try Pelican Parts if they can do this first....after you confirm overall availaility from FVD. - Wil

I tried to find my eBay purchase, it was only around 3 months ago, but I can't locate it. Is there somewhere on eBay that all purchases are recorded so I can pull it up? We didn't leave any feedback.
Anyways, it was $14.95, plus $7 shipping. It wasn't an auction, it was in the seller's eBay store. It *may* have ebay seller crowderscustomizing, but I'm not sure. |

You can make one yourself. The Momo horn buttons can be taken apart pretty easily. Once it is apart, you can actually put whatever image you want on your button. Then attach the image with clear packing tape. On mine, I have a picture of my kids. It's really easy to do, takes maybe 15 minutes, and it looks totally professional.

Try DPS...they seem to be the only folks that still have them. I think there was a copyright issue that stopped production.

I'll pull the button off again tonight and take some pics. But for now, I'll attempt to describe it. On the bottom of the horn button, there is a ring that holds the assembly together, kind of like a circlip. Pull this out and the whole thing comes apart. There is the circlip, a spring, a plastic housing and the actual button. The button itself is really just light weight stamped aluminium. The first time I pulled mine apart I puzzled over it for a little bit, then I figured out how it comes apart. Its really a very simple design. Pics to follow tonight...

Here are the pics of my horn button disassembled:
The back side of the MOMO horn button: ![]() Gently remove the black ring. Do not break the plastic! There are 3 plastic tabs holding the entire assembly together. Very gently press these in. The whole unit will now come apart. ![]() ![]() Here is the actual MOMO branded button. I just overlaid mine with a photo of my girls, and then some clear packing tape. It looks much better than this photo does! ![]() Assembly is the reverse. Do make sure that the button still works smoothly. You may need to trim any extra tape.

I was thinking of trying this, but the outer clear plastic on mine is embossed with the momo logo. It would be nice to find a smooth button to work with...
