New (to me) ride
Greetings - I've been more of a lurker for quite some time, but just wanted to introduce myself to the forum.
Picked up a 1980 SC last weekend from a fellow Pelican, and haven't been able to pull myself away from it. This is my first Porsche. 1980SC, HellBlau (light blue metallic), 107K, tensioners, pop-off valve, 6/7 Fuchs, lovely car in and out. I plan to do some minor modifications, but all in baby steps. I just want to enjoy it as is. Here are some pics:

Very nice! Love the color! I wish we had your weather! We are still several weeks away from being able to drive in Michigan. My car has not been started for almost five months!

Just about all old 911's are great looking but yours is truly an exceptional car. You got a good one it seems!

Purchased a 2003 triple black 996 convt.
I should be taking possession of it tomorrow. Look for pics on the 996 board in a couple of days. Your new ride looks like sweet! Drive it like you stole it!
