I don't know programming, but I read this as "high dx/dt" - in other words "this car is fast"

High Speed
So, unless I missed it, no one has defined HY DX/DT yet ???
Let me take a stab at it. HY = High DX is actually Delta X DT is actually Delta T What this represents is the change in x (or position) over the change in Time. That is Calculus speak for speed. The change in position divided by the change in time gives you the average speed. By the way: That is the first derivative I believe. The second derivative is the change in speed over the change in time...... In other words acceleration !!!! So, my next plate might be HY DVDT ![]() Fantastic Plate !! HY DXDT = High Speed

It also houses an oil cooler, pics don't really show this..Also not running tiny front wheels and rubber anymore, so this helps with contact. ![]() Id trade it for an IROC bumper in an instant, though this is still cool. I never planned on rocking it this long. |

These are some killer nice and mean Targas. The black, silver and that lite blue is making me need a Targa. Anyone selling a Targa 3.2 ?

1978 SC Targa
I'm in the middle of completely rebuilding the suspension right now. We're making the car a lot more road worthy. Engine is out, main seal replaced, new flywheel & clutch parts, plus a lot of "while you're in there" stuff.

Spent this spring finally returning the long hood nose to my '72 targa that was 'updated' 15+ years ago. Kept the 930 fenders and added TRE light boxes (not an easy job). Waiting for the painter, says mid-June now.

love the backdate! You saving up for those expensive rear glass moulding pcs that go under the seal? I still need to remove my rear glass and replace those myself but they're so pricey!

They were still the original bright pieces, luckily. Did pull the rear glass and change the trim back to bright from black, front glass trim was only black repainted which I carefully removed with solvent. Result!
