Knobs for folding seat forward

Last year I purchased some new knobs for folding the seat forward, because the old ones were missing and/or would not stay on.   The new ones slide on and they fall off, like they need a friction clip or something that I am missing to keep them on.

I contacted our host and they told me there is no such clip that they knew about.   "Have you I tried a nice epoxy glue" the tech asked.   Well perhaps that would work, but before I use the glue I thought I would check to see if anyone else here had another solution to this issue.

Thanks

Matt

Check again. It sounds like you were mislead. Our host's part # 311-881-247-M100 @ $.75 is probably what you are looking for. They do work as I just got some.

hooo geez, bad customer service. I've had a few of those types of encounters with our illustrious host.

Try calling Tom at extension 305 on Mon, Tues, and Wed mornings. Either that, or I can give you some other contacts.

Yes, there is a small metal clip that holds the knobs on the lever. It's a good idea to stock up on spare knobs, as they break easily.

Yes, that is exactly the part I am trying to find.   Thank you very much Leeb51.   Glad I didn't slather my knobs with epoxy resin!

I wrote the sales agent back so he would know the clip exists if anyone else asks about it.

Good service is hard to find, but I have to give Pelican credit for creating an maintaining this forum.   It has saved my butt many times over and provides far more support than can be had with a sales person.

I knew you guys would know.   Thanks!
