Question Early 911 Guages Quit

73 911E Guages were working fine with the exception the generator light iluminating. The Tach, Fuel, Oil temp, Oil level all stopped as if no power or no ground. Checked connections OK. Ran ground to guages no change. Lights all work just guages dead as if no power? Ideas?

Just a guess, but you may want to check power from the ignition switch to gauges. It almost sounds like the condition when the ignition is turned off as, I believe, all the mentioned gauges are activated by the ignition switch. The generator light may also be a clue, but someone familiar with electricals will have to chime in here.

I think it may be a 12v wire, gound is fine. Diagram is confusing. Anyone know which wire feeds primary power to the guages from the ignition ?
