Before & after pics of my '87.

Since I was going to 17's, I decided to change the rims a bit.
Btw, these are Italian-made replica cup1's (painted vintage gold), size 7.5x17 ET23 & 9x17 ET15 with 215/45R17 & 255/40R17 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Maybe not the most common choice for tires, but remember all the Firestone logos on the Porsche drivers in the Steve McQueen movie "Le Mans".

Yes, the ride height is a bit higher than I would like, but I had it lower and had problems with lousy local roads.

Other changes are the clear turn signal lenses (with yellow/orange bulbs), a Fabspeed premuffler (wrapped to reduce heat), a Dansk 1-in-2-out (84mm) sport muffler, eliminating the rear bumperettes and custom license plate lights. And, of course, an SW chip.

Thanks Shecks!

Yes, 17x8 F and 17x9.5 rear.
They are Fikse Mach-V that I bought off a forum member.
I took them apart and had them powder coated satin poly gold.

I was going back and forth on whether to leave the lips polished, or powder coat them. I think I made the right decision.

Man, some nice cars on this page. Makes me want to get Carrera stripes. The wife isn't too hot about that idea though
