Then maybe you can answer me about the wheels ? Brand, size, ET etc.

PDACPA 03-13-2011 10:41 AM

Sorry guys, my pc was messing up. I bought the wheels from Wheel Enhancement.

7.5x17 3.6 C2 Style 3 piece alloy -front
9x17 3.6 C2 Style 3 piece alloy - rear

cdrik-your wheels look a little different in the spokes, but yup twin cars! :D

was thinking you have the euro turn signals on the side then saw your location. I got rid of all my ugly amber (hate that crap and the cops do not know the DOT rules).

Nice... Thank you. Think they would look good on my '74 Carrera
The pictures is taken at the shipping company in California. The car will arrive to Denmark next month :D

With pleasure.

Mines are Tramont brand , 7.5" & 9" x 17" , ET15 & ET23. (3 parts , Magnesium & alloy)

Michelin Sport Pilot 205/50/17 & 255/40/17.

Cheers,

PDACPA 03-13-2011 11:40 AM

danish-my fuchs look just like the ones on your car. They need to redone as the black was coming off and they were 16". I debated going with 18" at the time, but some local P car guys said they would rub and I did not want to roll my fenders. I know some guys on here have 18, but I was happy with them.

I love the look of the 3.6 turbo in the old movie Bad Boys and that was why I went with those wheels.

IMCDb.org: 1995 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 [964] in "Bad Boys, 1995"

I keep debating the Carrera script. I like the look and then I like my look. I think the part that keeps me from doing it is the black stone guards in front of the rear wheels as I think those look great with our cars.

I swapped out my rear lower quarters (look at the picture) and bought a second lower rear valance so I could keep my original and cut the 2nd one for my dual out. You have the turbo tray where mine is the tea tray.

Gotta love the ability to personalize our cars! I bet you are like a kid waiting on Christmas to get the car!

PDACPA 03-13-2011 11:46 AM

cdrik-do the black stone guards. Easy mod and I think it makes the rear look wider and turbo look. Just my 2cents. If not, I would consider the Carrera script.

cdrik915 03-13-2011 12:07 PM

Yes , i think you're right.

I love the stone guards mod , but i ask myself if choosing magnetics stone guards would be a good choice ???

Your opinions and advices mate ???

Thankkkkkkkkkksss.

PDACPA 03-13-2011 01:11 PM

I like my stick on ones.
Porsche 911 & Carrera Exterior Trim - Page 9

I have seen the clear ones and those look terrible. You can always take them off and clean the glue off from behind. I waxed the area up good before the install.

I like the look ties in with the other black. Notice my windows are tinted dark black too to give that overall red and black look.

1987 Targa - gone but not forgotten

Looking back at these photos I wonder why I ever sold this great car. Purchased it in 2004 with 26000 miles. It was my first new 911 after not having had one in the garage since 1975. Second picture is the Concours in Denver, won the novice class on the first try.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1300080878.jpg

The best way to experience Guards Red--on the autobahn!

Better--on the approach to Zuffenhausen!

There were other Reds also, India, Kiln and Ruby red in 83/84, India and Garnet red in 85/86, Cherry/Carmine and Indian red in 87/88, Indian, Maraschino red in 87/88, Indian and Velvet red in 89, but never any Guards red!!!

Do we need to change the title of this thread?

But he is wrong!!! Look at color plate for my car:

I will try to EMail this gentleman and ask him to explain my color plate!!! ;)
